Homeward Journey Featured at the China (Shaanxi) Film Exhibition During the 78th Cannes International Film Festival

During the 78th Cannes International Film Festival's Marché du Film, five Shaanxi films—"Homeward Tree" presented by Sunnyway Films,along with "Between Us" "The Choices" "An Oasis" and "Home in the Tree" made their debut on this international stage in the form of a large-scale film screening. This marks a more confident participation of China's regional film industry in global cultural dialogue and signals that mid-to-low-budget films can find a unique space in the international market through professional promotion. From western China to the blue coast of southern France, this leap taken by Shaanxi films represents a solid and necessary step in the process of Chinese culture "going global."

This event, supported by the Shaanxi Provincial Film Bureau and hosted by the Shaanxi Film Industry Association and Shaanxi Tourism Group Film and Television, featured the "China (Shaanxi) Film Exhibition" at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Five Shaanxi films with distinct styles were showcased, presenting global filmmakers with moving stories that intertwine people and emotions, art and memory from this historically rich and creatively vibrant land.
