Fajr International Film Festival -- Opening a New Chapter in International Film Exchange and Cooperation

On February 4, 2024, as the Chinese Spring Festival approached, Sunnyway Films, representing the Shaanxi film under the commission of the Shaanxi Film Bureau and industry associations, was invited to Tehran to participate in the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF). During the festival, the delegation held meetings with the Chairman of the Iranian Cinema and Audiovisual Organization, the Cultural Minister Advisor of Iran, the International Director of the Fajr International Film Festival, as well as the Iranian producer Mohammad Hossein Latifi and director Khashayar Mahoodabadi  of the China-Iran co-production "The Tale of Pomegranate." A series of cultural exchange activities were conducted, including the promotion of Shaanxi films and project discussions in the international market section. The delegation successfully completed its assigned tasks and returned to China on February 14, the seventh day of the Lunar New Year.
