"Sino-American Co-Production 'Snow: The Unfinished Road' Promotes Cultural Exchange and Cooperation in Film and Television"

"Snow: The Unfinished Road",a Sino-American co-production, is set against the backdrop of the "Journey to the West" undertaken by international friends such as Edgar Snow and Helen Foster Snow in the 1930s, who explored the profound transformations in Chinese society. Through the perspective of Adam Foster, Chairman of the Helen Foster Snow Foundation in the United States, the film retraces Snow's path, showcasing a series of cultural exchanges and heartwarming stories of friendly interactions between the peoples of China and the United States since the new century, all inspired by the "Snow Spirit."

The film was produced under the guidance of the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television and jointly produced by Shaanxi Tourism Group Film and Television, Sunnway Films, and EDI Media Inc. It was shot on location in various cities across China and the United States, including San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Southern Utah, as well as Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Yan'an, and Baoji in China.

A grand launch ceremony was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, in June 2024. The event was attended by Chinese and international guests, including Ma Chuanxin, Deputy Director of the Promotion Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee; Shan Zixiao, Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Radio and Television Bureau; Adam John Foster, Chairman of the Helen Foster Snow Foundation; and Dan Stephenson and Donna Bennett, directors of the Helen Snow Foundation.

On June 13, the startup ceremony was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

Film and television production is an important part of cultural exchange and industrial cooperation between China and the United States.
